Description

Many Twin Cities food manufacturers have cut their teeth in the local farmers market circuit, but few have risen to the heights of Maazah, the chutney brand founded by sisters Yasameen and Sheilla Sajady in 2014. Maazah takes inspiration from the Sajadys' Afghan home cooking: A punchy, bright cilantro chutney is the brand’s staple, and Maazah has since added a lemon aioli, a sweet mango chutney, and a line of creamy lentil dips. Deals with local co-ops came first, and nationwide distribution at Whole Foods followed in 2024. Maazah expects to enter Costco and specialty grocery store Sprouts in 2026.
