Interior designer Victoria Sass says she’s in business to “sell feelings, not furniture.” Sass says her work is like that of an artist who tells a story on canvas but rendered in three-dimensional spaces. “I’m trying to create a conversation, a change in energy, to affect your emotional state in some way,” she says. Since founding her design firm Prospect Refuge Studio in 2015, Sass has attracted national attention in publications such as Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and The New York Times for her Midwest twist on décor, honoring nostalgic memory in modern designs for today. Beyond interiors, Sass has a few new projects on investing in art and furniture in the works. “I’m interested to see how that lands here, and I want to bring that conversation to the table in 2025.”
