Tracey Gibson says it’s important to understand that DEI is not confined to the human resources department—it’s driven by leaders at all levels of an organization making inclusion a business imperative. This year, Andersen was recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation as one of the best places to work for LGBTQ+ equality. Andersen also worked to create guidebooks for transgender people beginning their transition while in the workplace; thus far, one employee has transitioned using this guidebook. “Our commitment is to create an inclusive workplace where people feel respected, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential,” Gibson says.
