A standout in the classroom and on the basketball court at the University of Minnesota, Lea Olsen has transferred her sports acumen to broadcasting. She’s a sideline reporter for Timberwolves games and color analyst for Lynx games. “Telling the stories of these amazing female athletes is a dream come true,” says Olsen, who counsels youth to apply lessons from sports to their everyday lives. Olsen is also the first Twin Cities resident to serve on the Bell Bank board. A professional speaker on life and work, Olsen says in 2023 she’ll “encourage businesses, athletes, coaches, and parents to rethink winning at all costs.”
