In 2023, Kwame Osafo-Addo founded TruLegal, a Minneapolis law firm dedicated to “legal empowerment” by serving entrepreneurs of color and addressing their unique needs. So far, Osafo-Addo has worked with more than 50 clients, but he’s learned that legal services alone can’t fully support them. His clients often need advice on business strategy, resources, and guidance when legal and business issues overlap. “It’s about fully investing in their success and supporting them in building a solid foundation for growth.” Next year, the firm aims to add another attorney and expand its services and reach through educational workshops and webinars.
