Josh Helgesen became the third CEO of Greiner Construction in February after joining the company in 2001 as an apprentice carpenter. Helgesen is majority owner of one of Minnesota’s largest minority-owned companies by revenue. He anticipates a “solid year” in 2025 and aims for $170 million in revenue. “Our workforce has grown to 120 strong, positioning us to take on even more complex and diverse projects,” Helgesen says. Greiner, headquartered in Minneapolis with an office in Des Moines, Iowa, serves a wide range of markets, but Helgesen expects health care projects to be a key growth area.
