It’s going to be tough to top John Neerland’s 2024 Super Bowl, when Minneapolis ad agency Colle McVoy and client Frank’s RedHot seized on former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro Jason Kelce’s superfan energy to churn out a game-day campaign where he ripped his shirt off for the hot sauce, just like he had for his brother’s playoff touchdown. “We got him at the right moment,” says Neerland, a key player in many of the agency’s high-profile projects, including the Star Tribune’s rebrand. “I still feel like my best work is ahead of me,” Neerland says. “Whatever comes our way, we’re going to be able to tackle it.”
