When Twin Cities Startup Week was held at Finnegans’ downtown Minneapolis brewhouse, event center, and startup lab this past fall, Jacquie Berglund saw her multifaceted vision for the four-level downtown Minneapolis building realized. The serial entrepreneur has long been adept at juggling her own beverage business with mentoring social enterprise startup founders. In 2023, she says the Finnovation Fellowship will focus on what it’s good at: mentoring food and beverage brands. Her recent acquisition of another homegrown beverage brand, Hairless Dog, doubled Finnegans volume within a month and introduced the company to the rapidly growing nonalcoholic beverage market. Finnegans will introduce a new Hairless Dog flavor in the spring. “I’m looking for opportunities and collaborations,” says Berglund.
