As women face increasingly complex health issues, Dr. Indy Lane is working to address their needs. Lane became Allina Health’s women’s health leader in July and has led the division through unanticipated challenges, including navigating an IV fluid shortage after Hurricane Helene damaged a North Carolina facility. Coming from Indianapolis, she plans to continue learning about the needs of the Twin Cities community and working to close health care gaps, including racial disparities in maternal and infant mortality. Lane hopes 2025 will see the women’s health division create specialized teams to serve as experts on conditions such as pelvic pain, endometriosis, and menopausal and sexual wellness.
