Camille Davidson began her leadership tenure at Mitchell Hamline on July 1. A Mississippi native who earned her law degree at Georgetown, she came to St. Paul after serving as dean at Southern Illinois University’s law school. She says she’s taking time to “listen, learn, and engage with the community” as the law school prepares to celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2025, holding fast to the “original mission of access and opportunity.” She says about 60% of the students are enrolled in the part-time blended program, which combines in-person and online classes.
