NTH is a bit of a unicorn in commercial real estate, focused as much on advising and strategic planning as transactions. Anna Coskran, its new president, is just its third leader. “We like our size and what we’re doing,” she says, “helping clients with complex projects, finding a strategic path.” She’s bullish on the downtowns, noting that knowledge transfer happens in the office, but adds that rebounds are a long game. “They will be different but thriving. St. Paul can be partially converted to residential; Minneapolis will remain a solid business center with thriving neighborhoods,” but she believes the former will require tools like tax credits and lower interest rates. For next year she’s anticipating clients getting past the worst Covid-era jitters and focusing on longer-term leasing strategies.
