For 16 years, William J. Brody has served on the board of Northern Star Scouting, a nonprofit that prepares youth for leadership, where Brody’s own leadership on the board has proven integral to the creation of diverse programming for more than 42,000 young people annually. Brody has served on the capital campaign team that built the Leadership Center at Base Camp, which is Northern Star Scouting’s Fort Snelling headquarters. He identified the lead donor and raised millions of dollars for this strategic project as well as others. Brody has also served as chair of the CEO Succession Task Force, which recently completed its work to select the next top staff leader in the community resource’s 20th year. Beyond his nonprofit service, Brody serves as counsel for Fredrikson & Byron.
