At 16, Seth Brittain got a job with This Little Piggy Catering; in 2006, he and his wife, Dawn, acquired the business, which is now one of three brands of their Farmington-based catering and events company, A’BriTin. The others include Apples 2 Apples farm-to-table catering and Hitch & Sip Bar on Wheels. Altogether, A’BriTin caters weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings at more than 70 venues across the state. A frequent speaker and advisor to the catering and events industry, Brittain dedicates time to helping new caterers get their businesses off the ground. Throughout the pandemic, he and his wife made weekly community food donations and kept their employees on staff even when there was a significant drop in business.
