As a member of HealthPartners’ executive team, Nancy Evert has built a respected legal group known for its partnership with operational leaders to help achieve the organization’s goals. One of her top priorities is finding opportunities for simplification that align governance and corporate structure with how HealthPartners operates as one system. This impacts every aspect of the Bloomington-based health care system, from HR to the supply chain, insurance operation to patient care. She’s led many major projects, including the expansion of HealthPartners’ debt financing obligated group to engage the entire system for the benefit of patients, members, and the community. She spearheaded HealthPartners’ environmental sustainability program. She’s also integrated site-by-site physical security functions into a systemwide department, delivering on the organization’s promise of a welcoming, safe environment for all.
