Some of her customers include the Minneapolis American Indian Center; former NBA star Devean George, who is transforming a North Minneapolis warehouse into a modular housing factory; and Simpson Housing Services, which is building a $47 million shelter and housing project. For Stoick, it is not just about the next deal, colleagues say. She is strategic with allocations, aiming to bring economic life to underserved Twin Cities neighborhoods.
