Mark Henneman has worked to strengthen St. Paul throughout his six years on the board of the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation. He serves on the community impact committee and previously chaired the investment committee, bringing to the table a facility with analytics and facts. Joe Spencer, president of the Saint Paul Downtown Alliance, on whose board Henneman has served for two years, says Henneman is one of the city’s biggest champions. “Mark ran a business downtown and kept that business here,” he says. “He even moved his home downtown.” Henneman is board chair and investment manager for Mairs & Power, the St. Paul investment firm where he has worked for more than 20 years and was previously president and CEO.
