With more than 20 years’ experience in the technology sector, Lucas Mistelske brings to STARBASE Minnesota a passion for mentoring students in STEM. Since joining the board in 2018, he has played a pivotal role in advancing STEM education access for students in northern Minnesota and, as board chair for the past 12-18 months, he’s been instrumental in strategic planning and community outreach. Under Mistelske, the Duluth base of the educational nonprofit has expanded its partnerships and strengthened its ties with local school districts. Mistelske has also helped STARBASE secure critical support from both public and private partners in order to reach more students. Outside of nonprofit work, he is vice president of client experience for Ark Data Centers.
