Kristin McKenzie thrives on leading technical teams and solving complex global business and IT challenges to drive business value. At Thief River Falls-based Digi-Key Electronics, McKenzie guides 14 development teams that support critical business applications for the $5 billion electronic component distributor’s sales and operations capabilities. Her primary focus is leading a large technology transformation program for the company, prioritizing a digital-first approach to enable rapid growth and drive an exceptional customer experience. She recently led the launch of Digi-Key’s marketplace initiative, making the purchasing experience for customers more seamless while supporting Digi-Key’s products. In 2022, McKenzie was also on the leadership team that opened Digi-Key’s global capability center office in Bangalore, India, which will serve as an epicenter for technology and innovation for the company worldwide.
