Board chair of Maslon since 2022, Keiko Sugisaka represents Fortune 500 companies in product liability and commercial litigation. She serves as national counsel in defending against individual and mass tort actions. And she manages the Minneapolis firm’s 80-plus attorneys and leads overall strategic vision. She’s been leading an alignment of Maslon’s practices under one mission and guiding succession planning efforts. She led the firm’s Mansfield certification process to ensure all talent has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership. Sugisaka was key to planning Maslon’s move to a new downtown Minneapolis office in January 2024. She serves as Maslon’s member representative in both Twin Cities Diversity in Practice and the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. She’s also on the firm’s DEI and recruiting committees and is a board member of UPLIFT: Legal Institute for Teens.
