Juliana Junqueira Panetta oversees all legal matters for the Mall of America, addressing complex legal and operational challenges to reduce risk and reinforce the Bloomington mall’s prominence in the retail and entertainment sector. Her responsibilities include negotiating retail leases, commercial contracts, premises liability and commercial litigation, technology agreements, and security policies and procedures. During her tenure at MOA, Panetta has worked with outside counsel to develop a unique litigation strategy that was argued in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, and prevailed. She’s also led efforts to automate internal legal processes, streamline workflows, and create efficiencies across departments.
