As a founding board member and chair for the Gary S. Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship, Judith Corson has worked to strengthen business education in Minnesota. Corson brings with her nearly 40 years of business experience. She has served as the first woman on the boards of two Fortune 500 companies, and she was president and co-founder of Custom Research, which sold to the Germany-based GfK Group in 1999. In the past year, Corson has offered mentorship during a period of growth for the Minneapolis-based Gary S. Holmes Center, a hub tied to the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management whose goal is to educate a new generation of Minnesota business leaders. Corson has provided support to newer staff, championed new entrepreneurial initiatives, and led fundraising efforts.
