Joe Dokken works in the Minneapolis office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank, advising business owners, professionals, and community leaders in the Upper Midwest whose financial needs can benefit from an industry leader with a passion for working with clients who are making positive impacts in the local economy. He views his role as a steward of each family’s legacy. He has an in-depth perspective on the complex nature of liquidity events and presents recommendations for pre-transaction planning, business succession, trust and estate structuring, and lending. Recently, he worked with J.P. Morgan’s Technology Investment Bank, advising software companies on capital raises and M&A transactions. Dokken spent nearly a decade as a U.S. Army intelligence officer before pivoting to financial services. He takes time to mentor other veteran entrepreneurs in the community.
