Since U.S. Navy veteran Jeff Danielson joined Clean Grid Alliance (CGA) in 2022, he has led its state policy and advocacy team to new heights by encouraging personal growth and professional development. Under his leadership, significant legislation was passed in Minnesota, including the 100% Clean Energy by 2040 Act in 2023 and the Permitting Reform Bill in 2024. Both bills are nation-leading public policies to move the state forward in developing new clean energy projects, creating jobs, and delivering carbon-free electricity. Danielson also spearheaded the formation of CGA’s trade organization, which enables greater advocacy of the business case for clean energy in the Midwest. His business development efforts have increased the St. Paul organization’s membership by 11%. Before joining CGA, Danielson served four terms in the Iowa Senate and was president pro tempore.
