A member of the senior leadership team at Austin-based Hormel Foods, Jeff Baker is responsible for value-added meats offerings sold through retail channels across the enterprise and for strengthening and advancing the company’s culture. He served in the U.S. Air Force before joining Hormel’s sales team in 1990 and held many managerial positions before assuming his current role in 2022. Peers say Baker’s military experience shaped his leadership style as a sales executive, contributing to the growth of the $12 billion global branded food company. He serves on the board of the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) and is an executive sponsor of the Hormel Foods young professionals employee resource group.
