At The Doran Group, Erica Delain is responsible for evaluating all financial and partnership agreements for the real estate company’s current portfolio. She oversees all legal aspects related to development pursuits and leads retail leasing and provides legal guidance to the architectural, construction, and residential property management teams. As a key player on the Eden Prairie company’s leadership team, Delain works directly with owner and CEO Evan Doran, advising him and the senior leadership team on legal matters. Over the past 18 months, she led succession planning for founder Kelly Doran in the wake of his cancer diagnosis. She has executed two major real estate transactions in the past two years: the sale of Lyra Apartments in Colorado and Expo, an apartment building in Minneapolis.
