Elizabeth Franklin has served on the board for the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health (MACMH) for eight years, most recently as president. Her leadership has been critical for guiding MACMH through significant organizational changes and initiatives, and her contributions touch all areas of the St. Paul-based organization. Franklin has spoken at MACMH’s annual conference and developed and delivered training for mental health professionals statewide. “Despite ongoing challenges and uncertainty for the populations she serves, Liz remains grounded and unwavering in her commitment,” MACMH executive director Brandon Jones says, noting Franklin has elevated the nonprofit’s mission by bringing a culturally responsive lens to mental health services. Professionally, Franklin is director of behavioral health at Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio in St. Paul.
