Across 35 years practicing as a corporate and securities attorney, Doug Holod has helped clients in spaces as diverse as 3D printing, health care technology, investment management, and restaurant and retail. Holod leads by investing in relationships with all personnel at Minneapolis-based Maslon, presenting questions rather than orders when reviewing junior attorneys’ work and holding meetings with entrepreneurs trying to get their business started. Over the past 18 months, Holod has also devoted more than 200 hours to Meritas—a global alliance of mid-size independent law firms, founded in 1990 by his mentor—to help dozens of clients find legal representation.
