On the board for Stratis Health, as well as the board for its subsidiary Minnesota Alliance for Patient Safety, David Satin has guided the Bloomington-based nonprofit through periods of uncertain funding while encouraging staff to bring forward bold ideas, says Stratis president and CEO Jennifer Lundblad. His efforts with Stratis have led to financial and programmatic success, as when Stratis last year grew revenue from new sources by 15%, collaborated with 14 new partners, and was sought for national thought leadership 63 times. Satin, a practicing physician and associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota, has also elevated the Minnesota Alliance for Patient Safety’s work by connecting its system-level issues with community-informed solutions.
