In the past year and a half, Cara Peterson has led initiatives strengthening Adolfson & Peterson’s risk management and operational resilience. She implemented new risk management protocols, addressing heightened industry challenges at the Bloomington-based construction company, and has successfully managed complex project disputes, resolving issues without costly litigation. She recently led the rollout of a new management system and workflow, ensuring consistency and transparency in client contract negotiations. Partnering with operations and finance, Peterson also improved the subcontractor risk assessment process and has been key to helping the company’s leadership team redefine its risk tolerance amid a rapidly changing market.
