Antonio Cardona’s leadership is deeply steeped in policy, youth development, public health, and a strong commitment to racial equity and community engagement. With two decades of experience in nonprofit management, Cardona provides strategic direction to Minneapolis-based Project for Pride in Living’s $7 million employment and education division. The division annually serves more than 3,400 adults and young people seeking skills and credentials for jobs that offer family-sustaining wages. Leading a team of more than 50, Cardona guides PPL’s two Minneapolis Public Schools contract alternative high schools and education initiatives, as well as the organization’s career center and its work focusing on homeownership, income, and asset-building. Cardona serves on the executive committee of WorkWell MN, helping to reshape policies to address persistent employment inequity in Minnesota.
