Angela O’Neill brings more than two decades of banking industry experience to her role as Minnesota market president for UMB Bank, after having worked at Associated Bank for 19 years. Early in 2025, the Missouri-based UMB Bank closed on its acquisition of Heartland Financial, parent of Minnesota Bank & Trust, where O’Neill was president and CEO. O’Neill led the way through internal team integrations and a systems and brand conversion. “Angela’s leadership shined through as she kept her focus on opportunities, growth, and partnerships even during times of change,” says Peter Blumeyer, UMB Bank regional president.
