In its six years, Minneapolis marketing and customer service agency Bold Orange has grown to 130 employees, worked with dozens of national brands including Target and Polaris, and grown revenue by 188% from 2020 to 2023. Founder and CEO Margaret Murphy credits CFO Amy Hillman for helping the agency thrive, earning recognition from Inc. 5000 and Adweek as one of the fastest-growing Midwest agencies. Hillman led Bold Orange’s acquisition of another marketing firm. She also played a role in the acquisition of RaiseRight, optimizing its cash flow and enhancing operations for the gift-card fundraising platform, which directs more than $40 million annually to its partners.
