Description

Serial tech entrepreneur Carson Kipfer co-founded Minneapolis-based youth-sports software firm SportsEngine, later acquired by NBC Sports Group. He has two new projects: Monoline, an insurance quotation platform, and The Lumber Exchange, a coworking space he’s developing in the picturesque northern Wisconsin town of Hayward. “It’s been designed for people who live and work in the north woods,” he says, whether they’re locals or remote-working, nature-loving professionals from urban centers. Kipfer himself reflects this post-pandemic work-leisure blend, splitting his time between Hayward and the Twin Cities. He plans to open The Lumber Exchange next summer.
