Two Minnesota companies—Minnetonka-based audio-visual design company MSpace and Chatfield-based Tuohy Furniture Corporation—have teamed up to put Polycomm Immersive Telepresence videoconferencing technology into a sleek, modern cabinet that fully conceals the equipment when it’s not in use. At only 15 inches deep, the Zi Collection units fit into a variety of office, conference, and hospitality settings.
WorkFit-A Sit-Stand Workstations from St. Paul–based Ergotron are designed to get employees on their feet. The device attaches to a desk or other work surface and allows a person using a computer to sit or stand. Users adjust the WorkFit simply by pushing it into place. It can support more than one monitor or laptop, and adjusts to a variety of positions. The product is meant to mitigate the health effects of prolonged sitting for office workers, and to improve productivity.
