The client wanted additional office space to accommodate a larger workforce and house staff that was currently working elsewhere in leased space. The existing campus comprised two buildings located on opposite sides of a large regional stormwater pond. The new building bridges the pond, connects the existing buildings, and brings together previously separated employees. Connecting the older structures proved challenging as they are architecturally different with floor elevations that don’t match.

Building materials include face brick, insulated metal panels, low-e glass, and precast concrete accents. LED strip lighting on the exterior adds interest to the façade at night. Large retaining walls isolate the pond from the building on two sides; water flows under the building through culverts that connect the north and south ponds.
