Lawn maintenance equipment manufacturer The Toro Co. announced recently that it has secured a three-year agreement to be the preferred supplier of United Kingdom-based idverde in France, the UK, and Holland. The deal gives idverde easier access to Toro’s product line.
“We were looking for a reliable partner with a strong presence, both at the local level and throughout Europe as we continue to expand,” said Pascal Amico, director of purchasing at idverde, in a statement.
Bloomington-based Toro has a presence throughout all of idverde’s European network, according to the companies.
idverde will also benefit from Toro’s product development efforts, according to Toro’s senior marketing managing Anthony Nadalin.
“Toro is investing heavily in new products so we can offer a total solution for contractors of any size, whether it’s a small independent business or a large group like idverde,” Nadalin said. “From clearing and preparing the site to landscaping and maintaining it, Toro has equipment solutions for virtually every aspect of grounds’ care.”
In addition to Toro’s landscape contractor and lawn care equipment, idverde will gain access to the company’s irrigation and snow removal equipment.
The idverde deal follows another agreement Toro secured in September for an exclusive partnership with water treatment and filtration company Yamit Filtration. Under the terms of that deal, Toro will be the sole supplier of filtration solutions for California-based Yamit.
