Stratasys, the 3D printing company based in Israel and Eden Prairie, announced on Tuesday that it has tapped Yoav Zeif as its new CEO, effective Feb. 18.
He joins Stratasys from management consulting firm McKinsey & Co., where he’s served as a partner for a little over a year.
Before that, Zeif held leadership roles with Israel-based irrigation equipment manufacturer Netafim. He also served as a VP in two different divisions for China-based agriculture company ADAMA.
Zeif has an MBA from Northwestern University and a doctorate in international economics from Bar-Ilan University.
“Yoav brings the strong combination of leadership and global operational experience to fuel our next stage of growth,” said interim CEO Elchanan Jaglom in a news release. “We are confident that as CEO he will advance our offering and further our vision to reshape the world of design, prototyping, and manufacturing.”
Jaglom has served as CEO an interim basis since former CEO Ilan Levin resigned in May 2018. Jaglom will maintain his position as company chairman.
