CyberSpace for Your Stuff: Storage Units Go Digital- September 2011

CyberSpace picks up, inventories and photographs, and makes accessible via Internet every item you choose to store in its Minneapolis warehouse.

Molly Seeley is moving the storage business into cyberspace. Cofounder of the 17-year-old Local Motion moving company, based in Minneapolis, Seeley launched her new storage company, CyberSpace (cyberspacestorage.com), earlier this year. CyberSpace picks up, inventories and photographs, and makes accessible via Internet every item you choose to store in its Minneapolis warehouse. You can view your stored things anytime for a reminder of what you’ve stashed, and make online requests (one free a month; a $10 access fee and 99 cents per item after that) to have items retrieved. You can pick them up or have Local Motion deliver for an additional charge.
