Phillips Eye Institute Foundation’s Annual Urban Cocktail Party
This hip event caters to both the established medical crowd as well as up-and-coming professionals (tickets are discounted for those 40 and under). At the event, which supports local eye health programs through Allina Health, you can relax with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while listening to special guest singer/songwriter Keri Noble. The evening’s MC, KARE-11’s Belinda Jensen, will conduct the live and silent auction, and raffle drawing. Some 400 attended last year’s event.

Minnesota Agri-Growth Council Annual Meeting and Speakers Conference
Meet key stakeholders in the food and agriculture industry from the Upper Midwest. More than 400 industry leaders will offer their expertise from diverse corners of the agricultural industry, ranging from government relations professionals, commodity groups, farmer leaders, and public officials. Keynote speakers include University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler.

Tekne Awards
Presented by the Minnesota High Tech Association, this event draws more than 1,000 technology experts and enthusiasts to honor Tekne Award finalists and winners. The award recognizes influential individuals for their achievements in manufacturing, information and security technology. In attendance will be some of Minnesota’s brightest minds from companies including 3M, Thomson Reuters, Ecolab, and Digital River.

St. Paul Chamber Honors Gala
Although the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce hosts numerous networking opportunities throughout the year, this red carpet, black-tie-optional event is a special event, showcasing five businesses that have achieved excellence. The night will feature hors d’oeuvres and surprise entertainment (last year’s was a flash mob).

WomenVenture’s 18th Annual Fall Event
Celebrating women and entrepreneurs, this benefit luncheon draws a crowd of professionals and community leaders with interests in investing in small businesses to spur economic success for women-owned businesses. Hosted by singer Jearlyn Steele, with keynote speaker surgeon/entrepreneur Taryn Rose, the event also features more than 30 vendor booths from local and women-owned businesses showcasing their products and services.
