MeetMe Conferencing
Services provides clients with multiparty streaming (all parties are live),
one-to-many Webconferencing, and audioconferencing. The service is hosted by
Video Guidance using Polycom MGC 100 or Tandberg MPS videobridging hardware. This can be
done at your place of business or at a Video Guidance conferencing room.
Streaming content is a subset of videoconferencing and requires an Internet Protocol (IP) content server in order to archive audio, video, and data for future meetings. This technology is being used for training and live presentations to multiple sites and using different conferencing systems. For instance, some architectural firms need to collaborate with engineers on the other side of the world, so they use Web conferencing to look at data, CAD and CAM drawings, and then they archive the meeting—sometimes for legal purposes.
With High Touch Video Bridging Services, Video Guidance initiates and manages the conference, so clients don’t have to worry about dropped participants or helping people log onto the conference. Each site’s video window can be divided into sections, and voice-activated switching ensures that whomever is speaking is the person visible on the screen. And if client networks are certified by Video Guidance, we’re able to accommodate unscheduled conferences.
Other MeetMe attributes include:
•
32 screen layout configurations
•
Lecture mode
•
Adjustable volume at all endpoints during conference
•
Display of site names on screen
