Dale Kurschner became editor in chief of Twin Cities Business in September 2010. His most recent previous positions include senior director of corporate communications at OptumHealth and manager of employee communications at Lawson Software. He also founded Minneapolis-based Profits Journal, where he served as president and publisher. In addition, he was editor at Business Ethics magazine in New York and managing editor and reporter at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

Adam Platt

Adam Platt is executive editor at Twin Cities Business magazine, a position he has held since 2011. A seasoned journalist-turned-editor, he attended Macalester College in St. Paul, became a staff writer and media critic for the Twin Cities Reader, moved on to become editor of Casino Executive, and then joined Mpls.St.Paul magazine in 1998, where he served as executive editor until joining TCB.

Mary Connor

Mary Connor has been special-sections editor for Twin Cities Business since April 2005. She's responsible for planning and editing the Special Focus sections in each issue. Previously, Mary edited a monthly magazine for the industrial fabrics industry and worked in administration for both the University of Minnesota and a large environmental advocacy organization.

Gene Rebeck

Gene Rebeck, a former Twin Cities Business senior editor, serves as the magazine's northern Minnesota correspondent. His writing work has won several awards from the Minnesota Magazine Publishers Association and the American Society of Regional Business Publications. Before joining TCB, he was editorial director for a St. Paul trade publisher, as well as a freelance business and travel writer.

Jake Anderson became assistant editor for Twin Cities Business in March 2010 and then online and e-newsletter editor in February 2013. He is responsible for managing Web content and overseeing production of the twice-weekly Briefcase e-newsletter. Prior to joining the staff, he was an editorial intern for TCB. He's a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

Rebecca Omastiak joined Twin Cities Business in March 2013 after serving as both an online intern and an editorial intern for its sister publication, Mpls.St.Paul. She is responsible for collecting information for and preparing the annual Business Information Guide (or B.I.G. Book), which contains dozens of business lists. She also writes online news stories and occasionally writes short stories for the magazine. She's a graduate of the University of St. Thomas.

Kevin Mahoney joined Twin Cities Business in March 2013 after serving as an editorial intern for Mpls.St.Paul and a Web intern for a Wisconsin newspaper. He is responsible for writing online news stories and preparing the twice-weekly Briefcase e-newsletter. He also collects information for the annual Business Information Guide (or B.I.G. Book) and occasionally writes short stories for the magazine. He's a graduate of the University of Wisconsin—Madison.
